Welcome to Gospel Temple Family Worship Center

       Shawn Rochford, founder and Pastor of Gospel Temple Family Worship Center located in Schenectady, NY. A native of Schenectady, NY and the child of Norman Rochford and Arlene Rochford. Pastor Rochford was born and raised in New Life Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Ed Burggren until the age of sixteen. Pastor Rochford then transitioned under the leadership of Pastor Michael Williams of Faithwalk Ministries. At this time, Pastor Rochford received his ministerial license at the age of twenty-three under the association of Bishop Paul Morton. At the start of his ministerial walk, Pastor Rochford became Faithwalk Ministries Youth and Young Adults Director. He remained a director over this department for four years. Pastor Rochford also was a Worship Leader during his time in service. Today, Faithwalk Ministries has been renamed to Christ Center Unity. In January 2019, Pastor Rochford began Pastoral training with Church of God in Christ Fellowship, Pastor Marc Johnson.

Mission Statement

Gospel Temple Worship Center mission is to equip and empower the people with the word of God; so that they will grow from lambs to sheep. Pastor Rochford will not rest on his mission for the city of Schenectady until the Lord congratulates him with Matthew 25:21 where the Lord spoke, “well done my good and faithful servant.”
